Your donation: building community health in Mauritius
The 5-2035 Global Foundation for Community Health works with communities, clinicians, scientists and government to reduce the harm caused by type 2 diabetes in Mauritius. Your donation helps build three things.
A base in Mauritius
A working secretariat for training, research and community work, the point from which everything else is coordinated.
Reaching people
Clear health information, in the languages people speak, through the channels they use.
Evidence
We aim to learn how people live with diabetes day to day, and why good care is hard to reach. What we learn will shape what we build next, and we intend to share it openly.
Every contribution goes towards training and equipping Community Health Officers, giving families practical support, and building evidence that other countries can use.
